Asphalt Paving

Expert Asphalt Services for Residential and Commercial Driveways/Parking Lots: Durable and Professional.

Replacement Driveways / Parking Lots

A well-constructed and maintained asphalt driveway can serve you for many years. However, every material has its lifespan, including asphalt. When your driveway reaches significant deterioration, the optimal solution is to remove the old asphalt, rebase it with additional limestone if needed, and lay down 2″ to 4″ of fresh asphalt, depending on traffic volume. This process gives your home a new driveway. You can retain the current configuration or modify the layout to enhance your property’s flow. New driveways are our specialty, and we’re here to assist you.

New Construction Driveways / Parking Lots

For clients needing a new asphalt installation for a driveway, turnaround, or recreational area next to an existing driveway, we offer comprehensive new construction services. This involves several critical steps. First, we thoroughly understand your objectives and evaluate the site for drainage, contours, and other factors that may impact the installation. After this assessment, we proceed with excavating and removing topsoil as necessary. We then spread, grade, and compact #304 limestone to establish a robust base. Next, we pave and compact the asphalt to a thickness of 2″ to 4″ based on expected traffic load. Our final step is to ensure the completed project meets your expectations.

Overlays of Existing Pavement

Many homeowners, especially in rural areas, start with a gravel driveway. Over time, the drawbacks of gravel become evident, leading them to seek a more durable solution like asphalt paving. Typically, gravel driveways develop a stone base after years of use and multiple gravel applications. However, asphalt requires specific stone types for a proper base, which gravel driveways often lack due to their mixed stone composition. Despite this, the existing base can still be built upon. During the grade and pave process, we level the top gravel layer and set the grade. We then add our pave base limestone, level, and grade the area to ensure proper drainage. The area is rolled to create a solid base, and finally, we install a new layer of asphalt, depending on traffic load.
